The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA or “Recovery Act”) mandated that user-friendly data be available to taxpayers on where and how Recovery funds were spent. Below are several resources for tracking the data.
The Federal website, Recovery.gov, displays all ARRA-funded projects reported by recipients on an interactive map searchable by zip code. Users can also access funding distributions, and diversity and unemployment mapping information. To view the map for New York State, follow the link below:

New York will receive at least $34.8 billion in ARRA funds, part of $425 billion that will be appropriated to states and other recipients over the length of the ARRA program. New York continues to apply for some additional funding available through competitive grants, which may increase the final allocation. View the chart.
