$5.5 billion ($750 million for federal buildings & courthouses; $4.5 billion for green federal buildings; $3 million for a training & apprenticeship program)

New York State Total:

$236,020,000 has been obligated to High Performance Green Buildings within New York State (full listing on next page)

Entities Eligible to Apply:

GSA has discretion to expend funds and has prepared a spending plan.

Flow of Funds:

GSA funds federal building projects directly

Obligation Deadline:

Not less than $5,000,000,000 obligated by September 30, 2010

Remainder of funds provided obligated by September 30, 2011

Reporting Requirements:

General Services Administration submitted a detailed plan, by project, to the   Appropriations Committees of the House and Senate (the “Committees”); Administrator will report to the Committees on the obligation of these funds on a quarterly basis beginning on June 30, 2009
